5 Practices for Successful Leaders
Success is about how connected you are:
To yourself,
to your purpose,
and to your energy.
And success comes
when there’s an alignment
between our doing and our way of being.
Our way of being is the root,
the source that drives every action in our lives.
Our way of being is a reflection of our life purpose.
Here are five practices that have helped me
and others I’ve worked with find that balance.
𝟭. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
In a world that demands constant action,
the most powerful thing I’ve learned is to stop.
Just stop.
I take time to sit in silence.
No agenda, no distractions.
It’s in this quiet that I find clarity.
𝟮. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲.
When I wake up,
I list three things I’m grateful for.
It shifts my focus from what’s missing
to what’s already here.
And from that space,
I make better decisions.
3. Ask for forgiveness.
I take a moment to forgive myself and others.
It releases the weight of past mistakes,
letting go of resentment and regret.
From this space,
I feel lighter, more open,
and ready to move forward.
And with a clear heart,
I create more meaningful connections.
4. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲.
Every action I take now,
I ask myself:
Does this align with my life purpose,
my way of being?
If it doesn’t, it’s a no.
Simple as that.
5. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
I’ve learned to listen to that inner voice.
It’s always there,
quietly guiding me when I allow it.
The more I tune in,
the more I realize my intuition knows what’s best
even when the data says otherwise.
What spiritual practice would you add to the list?
Thank you for reading.
